NHS Wigs

Children under 16 and young people 16, 17, and 18 in full-time education are entitled to free wigs on the NHS. Each year you can claim up to two synthetic hair wigs from the NHS.

The NHS should be able to provide a selection of wigs suitable for children.

These wigs will have a petite sized base/cap.

In special circumstances you may be entitled to a human hair wig but you would need to speak to your dermatologist.
